Old Ghosts

Re:Mission Entertainment welcomes U.S. Witch House producer Fax Modem (FM) to the label. The album “Frequency Demon” comes out October 30th, 2026, with the debut single “Old Ghosts” out Friday, October 16th. Both will be available on all major digital platforms.

Fax Modem lives in the corpse of dead technologies, in the ether of outdated software. The music is heavy on samples with Industrial undertones running underneath. FM has recorded under several names over the years, including Darkened, which put out underground Dark Industrial, Grime and Bass music on the now defunct Dark Electronic micro label Octofoil.

“Frequency Demon” is the first Fax Modem album, produced and recorded in 2026. It’s a varied, textured set of Witch House tracks built on Industrial and Dark Synth progressions.

The single “Old Ghosts” is about finding someone who shares your values, your aesthetic and your subculture. Subculture attracts subculture. Those connections mean more as you get older, and when things get darker there’s comfort in finding your people.

“Frequency Demon” lands just before Halloween and should connect with fans of classic Witch House like Ritualz, White Ring, Salem and Blvck Ceiling.
