LIVE @ BLACK CAT documents EVILARTFORM (Omar Pitras Waqar) performing at Washington, D.C.’s Black Cat on November 14, 2015, for a Love Music Hate Racism concert. Built on a bed of pre-recorded drones, loops and textures but created largely in the moment, the set unfolds as raw improvisation — every beat, vocal, and lyric forged live. TR-808 rhythms, warped tapes, and spectral samples collide with spontaneous verses to form protest electro-sufi tunes that blur anger, devotion, and vulnerability. Honest, unpolished, and unrepeatable, it’s a snapshot of music as resistance and survival.
