Evilartform is the sonic lab of Omar Pitras Waqar, fusing drum machines, synths, sampling, musique concrète, IDM, and hip hop into hypnotic, fractured beats. Rooted in diasporic mysticism and DIY grit, Evilartform builds glitchy rituals from cultural debris—noise as resistance, rhythm as memory, distortion as healing.

Released during the EVILARTORM improvised live music experiment era, this was sold as an instrumentals, a collection of beats to chill out to, this record does not contain any of the songs created on the stage during that time, it is instead a look back at what led up to that point.

What first began as late night incantations and epic mediations with lo-fi computer music soon evolved a mixture between mysticism and technology. A joyful and irreverent video game played out to the droning torment of an analog cassette tape sacrificed. The listener is invited to dance to the echoes of forgotten folklore and shed the trauma of a society full of boundaries as tape loops flange and classic drum machines sound.
