About my album 'Considerações sobre a paisagem'.

It's an album, but it could be a film. Or perhaps a child. A consecration of life. Or perhaps of mourning. The only fact is that 'Considerações sobre a paisagem' is a work. My first officially released musical work, after 40 years of life. First of all, it's an album about urban displacement. In these years, there have been approximately 18 changes of address within the same metropolitan region (forced or not). Kilometers of walking on uneven streets, hostile curbs, strange corners where I felt fear, and weary stops in squares, corners, bakeries, flowerbeds, train stations, and any and every edge that could serve as a seat. But trying to settle down in São Paulo and its surroundings isn't easy. This album contains days of unease, sneezing fits, promises of home, kicks with the toe, and some bursts of sunlight, seeking acceptance of a certain way of living. In these identity-focused times, I carry with me only two certainties: that I am a tenant and a pedestrian. A poor man, sometimes breathless, because the city is tiring. For some reason, one day I felt an enormous need to transform certain sayings into music. And to, suddenly, show the result of this to someone else. And that's how this work was born, gestating for years, but only finalized in the first months of 2026.
