Weeks Like Worms

My music is heavy on electronics, but I don't like to be too fiddly and precise with my song making approach. Most of the songs on this album were made in two takes (one for the music and one for the vocals) with minimal overdubbing and post effects. That said, Weeks Like Worms is sonically dense and adventurous. For example, track 4 features an unsteady and off-syncing tempo structure. A hardware sampler and synths are the most prominent sound sources, with many sounds being sampled and resampled from live instruments like guitar and xylophone. The lyrics dip mainly into the paranoid circus of the panopticon, particularly as it relates to mental health.
