Smoke Up Every Mountain

I used to play drums in a punk band when I was a kid. For me, this album comes close to capturing some of the spontaneous aspects of the music I used to play, which can be a challenging thing to do when you are working alone by yourself with stodgy electronics. Each song on this album has it's own distinctive vibe, with sounds blending from blues or pop or trap or industrial. The vocals might be best described as post-punk, with the overarching poetic themes of concealment, surveillance, and survival.
