Inferyes

“Inferyes” is a 4 track, surgically precise, aurally injected and perfected album by Cathode Ray Tube. ‘Cheap Stasis’ opens “Inferyes” at frenetic pace while a 303 bass percolates along as loops roll and swoop around the beat. ‘Octophobic’ brings a buzzing intergalactic busy signal to a tower of thudding drums for a battle across sonic territories alluring and mysterious. ‘Deuteronomyopia’ conjures biblical strength drums as the wailing of sampled souls makes a volatile coupling of dub, dancehall and industrial dancescapes. ‘Nonreactive Agents’ closes the matter out with a loping anthem for those trapped souls forever dancing at the edges of glittering sonic temples.

“From a pool of 9 tracks Michael and I whittled it down until arriving at these four songs,” says CRT. “I’m really loving the music I’m making lately if I’m being honest. It amazes me when folks listen then ask for more! Always happy to oblige.”
