Los Angeles–based dark synthpop trio BlakLight return with their latest release, 'Cruel - Maxi Single', arriving Friday, April 24 across all major streaming platforms, digital download and CD.
Expanding on the band's signature blend of brooding atmosphere and melodic intensity, 'Cruel - Maxi Single' features a collection of remixes from notable acts including Rotersand, Vioflesh, Beyond Obsession and Ego Bliss—each offering a distinct interpretation of the track’s dark emotional core. The release also includes a brand new instrumental track titled "Imminent Threat". driven by dark, pulsating beats & a cinematic, foreboding atmosphere.
In support of the release, BlakLight will bring their immersive live performance to audiences worldwide, with appearances at Dark Force Fest, a run of UK tour dates, and a performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen this May. Additional shows in Mexico are scheduled for this summer.
