Live Studio Session — 24/10/2026 is a live electronic performance by UK musician Alex Routledge, recorded in the studio on 24 October 2026.
Created entirely in real time using a Yamaha MODX8+ and live looping, the piece gradually builds layers of synthesizers, rhythms and atmospheric textures, moving through ambient electronica, IDM, downtempo and psychedelic electronic territory.
Rather than being arranged and assembled afterwards in a DAW, the music develops as a continuous performance, with improvisation, repetition and unexpected changes shaping the sound as it unfolds.
A further exploration of live electronic music, capturing the spontaneity and evolving textures of a performance as it happens.
