Lonesome Cybernetic Drifter on Mars (or Lo-Fi Morricone-esque in Space)

Easily 2021's Most Accurate Album Title. 'Lonesome..' is a bold step in the Volcano Kings' current arc: crossing from post-rock into more rural territory and expanding their dimensions wherever their muses have warranted a cinematic adjective. "Lo-fi" is a bit of a misnomer, however, as home recording technology gives the band the ability to construct string sections from guitar swells and armies of brass and wind instruments from friendly Providence neighbors.
