Supermarket Parking Lot

Honesty Doesn't Pay

Supermarket Parking Lot ushers in a new era for the band with the release of their explosive debut album, Honesty Doesn't Pay. Inspired by high school heartbreak of years past, post-war French absurdist literature, and the canon of progressive rock alike, Supermarket Parking Lot debut a more complex, cerebral sound while maintaining the edge, vitality, and DIY ethos of their prior output.

Honesty Doesn't Pay consists of 11 tracks, carefully arranged into a specific order. Listen through it straight through. Let one track bleed into another. Gapless playback, if possible. No piece is more or less important. Although each piece stands on its own, for all its composite parts - take it as a whole. It's a song cycle in 11 movements (and 6 additional sub-movements) that captures specific moments in a specific young adulthood.

Here it is now, as a unified nostalgia. Please, surrender to it.
