Robots in Love

Convergence

'Convergence' sits in that dangerous modern territory where guitars, drums, electronics, and voice become one weaponised emotional language. The sound is polished, but not sterile. It has the precision of electronic production, yet the emotional bloodstream of rock music.

The lyric world of Convergence is especially interesting because it works on two scales at once. On the intimate scale, it is about the self in relation to another person: how much we reveal, how much we hide, how much we allow someone to orbit us, enter us, change us. The images of “satellite” and “parasite” are crucial because they show two sides of attachment. One can be protective, observant, almost celestial. The other is invasive, feeding, difficult to remove. Robots In Love understand that intimacy is rarely simple. Love, friendship, influence, obsession, admiration, and control can sometimes wear similar masks until the damage has already begun.
On the larger scale, the song becomes almost social and philosophical. It asks whether the individual should remain separate or enter the collective. That question feels deeply contemporary.
