GetMusic vs PUSH.fm: which is better in 2026?
These two are searched together and rarely do the same job. PUSH.fm gives you free, unlimited smart links, pre-saves, and Reward Links that unlock a download after a fan follows or shares. GetMusic hands out Bandcamp download codes, one per fan, to a genre-browsing audience and records who claimed each one. If your release is on Bandcamp and you want it found and tracked, read on. If it is streaming-only, PUSH.fm is the answer and this page says so.
Our take, in one paragraph
Pick GetMusic if the release is on Bandcamp and you want codes claimed by fans you have not reached yet. The release goes on genre pages and ranked feeds, each code is validated against Bandcamp before a fan sees it, and you get a list of who claimed, when, and where from. Fans need no account and complete no action checklist. The first release promotion is free; each one after is $10, paid once.
Pick PUSH.fm if you need smart links, pre-saves, or a gate that trades a download for a follow, and especially if your music is not on Bandcamp. It is free with no limit on links or Reward Links, it collects emails on the free plan, and Premium is $5 a month for storage, exports, and a Meta Pixel. GetMusic does none of that. For many artists the right answer is both, split by job, and the test below shows how.

Pricing, side by side
GetMusic
- First release: free. Artist setup, a dedicated URL, one release page, up to 100 Bandcamp codes, and placement on the discovery and social surfaces.
- Additional releases: $10 each, paid once per release, same page and 100-code allowance. Labels get custom pricing; the pricing page has current numbers. Fans never pay.
The first promotion is a one-time free release credit, not a subscription tier or trial. See the live pricing page.
PUSH.fm
- Free: unlimited smart links, pre-saves, and Reward Links; access to the emails you collect; 1 GB of storage for hosted downloads.
- Premium, $5/month: 50 GB of storage, custom backgrounds, email export and filtering, and a Meta Pixel on your pages.
On price alone PUSH.fm wins outright: the free plan has no release limit, and Premium costs less than one GetMusic release promotion per month. You are paying GetMusic for the audience and the per-code record, not for the link.
How to test both without picking blind
This one does not need the usual split of one code batch, because PUSH.fm does not handle codes. Instead, split the jobs for your next Bandcamp release. Put the Bandcamp codes on a GetMusic release promotion and let it sit on its genre page. Build a PUSH.fm Reward Link for a separate reward, such as a stem, a demo, or a hidden video URL, gated on a follow or a newsletter sign-up. Share both links in your usual channels for thirty days.
Then look at what each produced. From GetMusic: how many codes were claimed, and how many of those claims came from the genre pages and feeds rather than your own posts. From PUSH.fm: how many fans completed the gate, and how many emails you collected. If the GetMusic discovery claims are a meaningful share of the total, the $10 per release is buying you listeners; if they are close to zero in your genre, keep PUSH.fm for the campaign and use Band.codes or Bandcamp's own Tools page for the codes.
Pick GetMusic if… pick PUSH.fm if…
Pick GetMusic if
- Your release is on Bandcamp and you want the free download to land the fan on your Bandcamp page.
- You want claims from fans browsing a genre page, not only from links you share.
- You want each Bandcamp code served once, checked first, and tied to a named claim.
- You would rather fans claim with no account and no follow-or-share checklist.
- You want the release page, follower notifications, and social posts handled from the Bandcamp URL.
Pick PUSH.fm if
- Your music is on Spotify, Apple Music, or SoundCloud and not on Bandcamp.
- You need one smart link for your bio or a pre-save before release day.
- You want to gate a download, message, or URL behind a follow, share, or newsletter sign-up.
- You run paid social campaigns and need a Meta Pixel and email exports, at $5 a month.
- You put out something every few weeks and want all of it covered at no cost.
A note on bias
GetMusic publishes this page, so treat the verdict as informed but not impartial. We have tried to be fair, and PUSH.fm is the better fit for several of the scenarios above. The most honest test is to run one release through each for a month and see where the claims come from. How GetMusic compares to every Bandcamp code tool gives the wider picture.

GetMusic is a Bandcamp code distribution platform, so this page has a bias and says so. Competitor features and prices were checked against each company's public pages in October 2026; if something has changed, tell us and we will fix the page. More about who we are is on the about page and in GetMusic by the numbers.
