STOCKSNSKINS have always sat on the awkward bench. This Bournemouth based beat poetry duo mixes relatable spoken word lyrics, bass guitar and electronic beats to create the distinctive SNS sound; 8/16 bar beats overlaid with synth mixes being personal favourites.

The band draws inspiration from a whole host of artists ranging from The Streets, Billy Nomates, and Jardin De Lucy, through to Sleaford Mods, Ghost Poet, The Doors, and Jah Wobble via dub reggae and post-punk.

One of the most prolific and unique bands on the South Coast, SNS have dropped five EPs and a full length album since signing to AnalogueTrash in 2018.

2021- and the COVID-19 pandemic – has seen them hone their approach, with lo-fi home recordings and a wider sonic palette providing the foundation for some of the band’s most impressive and relevant work to date.

Already a firm fixture on the UK underground music scene, 2022 will see more music and live performances from the duo, as their creativity shows no sign of stopping.
