"Cradle", released in 2021, was the first recorded output from Tidebound since 2018's "Black River & Other Bodies of Water" EP.
A stable of liveshows since 2018, this version of "Cradle" is augumented by drum programming, lots of electric guitars, bass and the keyboard and backing vocals of longtime collaborator Laura Noszczyk (AEX, Solyara), making it probably the most fleshed out and band-like sounding
recording in the Tidebound discography.
"Cradle" takes the skeletal psych-folk of earlier Tidebound and adds a more shoegazery feel, resulting in a sound that is still dreamy and dark , but one that is also more propulsive and direct.
