"Normal Person" is the first single from Boston-based alternative rock project Supermarket Parking Lot. With "Normal Person", SPL looks to make a statement, both with the unrelenting and fast-paced retro instrumental of the tune and with the introspective lyricism, commenting on relationship opportunities since lost and the overthinking and regrets that have come since. "Normal Person" is an anxiety-riddled anthem for the wallflowers that shows only one face of the band and a small fraction of what Supermarket Parking Lot in store not just for Boston, but for the rock world as a whole.
