As our final 2 players step up to the first arcade machine to begin their first battle of the night, the large crowd around them is completely silent. It's never been this quiet inside the Turbo Drive Arcade, but this is serious, this is the final 10 games for the trophy and the title of 1984 Arcade Grand Champion. Surrounded by neon lights and excited teenagers, our 2 players drop their first quarters of the night into the machine.
