FM is the result of how quickly an idea can come together when you follow your intuition. The main riff came out of an Ableton session while trying out the (then) new FM module - I created the melody by modulating the pitch knob, because I got irritated that you couldn't play it via midi! I added some distortion and Ableton's Filter Delay and the rest of the track built itself around that.
The track was only ever meant as material for a mixing lesson from Conor Dalton (who creates my amazing masters), but after mixing it with him and getting the master included, I loved how it sounded, and so it's getting a release!
