It's cathartic and contemplative with heavy influences ranging from industrial rock to glitch pop, minimalism, shoegaze & modern prog. All the ideas, especially ones that recur throughout the album, root back to this. It builds simple ideas over a long arc and expands on them, much like how stepping into an ocean quickly makes you realize the ferocity and unpredictability of the waves and life underneath.
