STEP INTO THE OCEAN is an electronic art rock concept album about the relationship with one's partner growing more complex over time. It's cathartic and contemplative with heavy influences ranging from industrial rock to glitch pop, minimalism, shoegaze & modern prog. All the ideas, especially ones that recur throughout the album, root back to this. It builds simple ideas over a long arc and expands on them, much like how stepping into an ocean quickly makes you realize the ferocity and unpredictability of the waves and life underneath.
