Vol. 1: Lead ’Em Blindly
FunkMoonCamp formed after regular Koala Beatcast sample flip challenge participants FunksMaName, Potato Moons and Campy decided to join forces and collaborate. Rumour has it; Potato Moons’ spend a considerable amount of time in rural England when not orbiting Mars, whilst FunksMaName resides in New Zealand and Campy is somewhere in the USA that isn’t quite Canada.
Anyway, that first collaboration was just over a year ago now and we have been making tracks together for the weekly Beatcast ever since. Throwing Koala Sampler project files at each other like paper aeroplanes across the mighty seas. After our first anniversary, we thought it was about time we started releasing some stuff and here is our first little batch. This collection of thirteen tracks flows in chronological order, with the opening title track “Lead Em’ Blindly” being our first ever track together.
The entire album is made up of week 1-13. We hope you enjoy this thing and be on the look out for a few more releases in the coming weeks and months. Any support is massively appreciated!
