I Need A Girl With a Walton's Face (2024 Remix)
Originally released in early 1985, this song was always one of my most popular tracks. 40 years later the masters are no longer available, but with the help of stem separation technology I was able to remix the basic elements while finally adding "real" drums (plus a few samples) and Fender Bass. There's also judicious keyboard and vocal overdubs. This song is ostensibly based on the TV character Mary Ellen Walton, but she was pretty much a stand-in for the more innocent type of woman I was pining for in that youthful time.
