In 2018, a well-to-do Brooklyn bedroom pop quartet recorded a song every week for all 52 weeks of the year. The results are skrams, bops, jams, what Paul McCartney would call "chunes", or much more simply: songs for song nerds. The results ranged from Pavement to ABBA, Michelle Branch to Skip Spence, Chainsmokers to Broadway. And beyond.

While pandemic would end scattering the group to the national winds, the 'Best of Song of the Week 2018' LP collection lives on in the ears of #freealbumcodes followers for years later.
