Sänger Blondel

Sänger Blondel: (minstrel - medieval legend) The minstrel Blondel, renowned for his unwavering loyalty to King Richard the Lionhearted, embarked on a quest to find the English monarch after he did not return from the Crusades. Unbeknownst to Blondel, Richard was imprisoned in Austria. He traveled from one fortress to another, singing a melody that only the two of them knew.

One day, while resting against the steep walls of Dürnstein Fortress, he sang the first verse for what felt like the thousandth time: "Oh king, do you hear me, your Blondel?" To his astonishment, he heard the familiar voice of his beloved king respond with the second verse: "Blondel! Oh, Blondel! Is it truly you?" Overjoyed, he rushed back to England to share the good news. Shortly after, a suitable ransom was arranged, allowing Richard Lionheart to continue his journey home.

The minstrel's songs served as the primary source of information for the people. This narrative aims to reflect the overwhelming abundance of information present in today's society.
