Virgin Birth

Building on the release of their debut EP "The Forest," Virgin Birth is at last ready to present their new full length record Total Annihilation. Recorded at The Slaughtered Lamb Studio in Louisville, the general vibe of the record was inspired by dystopian and post-disaster films like Threads (1984) and Aniara (2018).

Two years in the making, Total Annihilation features 10 new songs, each track having its own unique take on dark electronica and where we are as not only Americans, but people of planet Earth. This isn’t a political record, but it is absolutely a situational record. We as humans wake up every day just a little bit more fucked than the day before, for one reason or another, leading to a growing unstable paranoia within anyone paying attention.

Total Annihilation was released on May 3rd, 2025 on cassette via Never Nervous Records, and a vinyl release is set for early 2026.
