Tytus Długołęcki & D.P.D Trio
Tytus Długołęcki is a Polish multi-instrumentalist who is very active on the local experimental music scene. His beginnings are related to the band Dreamless Night, which he joined at the 2020. In 2021, he released his well-recieved solo debut - Hosianna Muscaria, an album strongly drawing on krautrock and psychedelia, combining folk, ambient and Lo-Fi aesthetics. Later, Tytus focused on working with his psychedelic trio (D.P.D Trio), which played mainly his solo compositions, rearranged for a three-piece band. The band released 3 studio albums making up the "Surfing Trilogy", then ended their activities in 2023 due to personal reasons. Currently, Tytus is the leader and bassist of the trio Tytus & The LeftHanders . At the beginning of 2024, the band released its first album "Middle Hand", which is a mixture of Jazz-rock and other genres. The group actively performs all over Poland. For some time now, Tytus has been slowly moving away from classic psychedelic sounds in favor of experimenting with Jamaican music (dub and reggae), this can be seen in the new material played with The Left-Handers, as well as in his solo music. He is also the guitarist of the live dub band Mary Mount Dub Station associated with Pracovnia Art Club - a very important place for reggae music in Poland.
