The Reality Machine
The Reality Machine was founded in early 2024, but idea for the have been around for quite some time now. Ari Kotipelto, founding member of the finnish melodic metal band Magneta Plaza have always wanted to go back to his musical roots by writing more traditional heavy metal tracks with great hooky choruses but with a bit more modern sense. The dream came alive in January 2024, when Magneta Plaza’s upcoming second album writing went on a hiatus. The songs started to come together easily, when the creative floodgates opened. Searching for a singer was not easy. After a month searching vocalist from the hometown Pori was going nowhere, the idea was to hire a session vocalist. Few people auditioned, but none was quite what Ari was looking for. Finally Igor Arbuzov, notably known from the band Blazing Rust, answered the session work ad. His voice was superb for the songs and the work started. The EP The Reality Machine came together quickly. The art style for The Reality Machine was made with artist Klaus-Erik Strandberg. Well, what the future holds for The Reality Machine? The second EP is almost written and the recording will start later in 2024 with the aim for release also in 2024.
